This growth has attracted more XRP sharks and whales, showing confidence, but it also shows potential volatility in the event of a major sell-off.

Ripple is partnering with the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) Innovation Center to drive innovation in blockchain and digital assets in the UAE. The partnership aims to bring together DIFC’s innovation centers and developers, with more than 1,000 technology companies, venture capitalists, regulators and educational institutions.

Alif Amiri, CEO of DIFC, said the partnership will strengthen DIFC’s role as a global leader in technology and innovation.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse also said that the partnership will drive blockchain adoption in the region and that the XRP Ledger (XRPL) will play a key role.

Ripple announced the reboot of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) test network, scheduled for 2024-8-19. This process takes about 15 minutes, during which time the test network may become unavailable.

Ripple is working on long-term solutions to improve ecosystem resilience, including reducing network load, improving security and establishing regular reboot schedules for test networks.

Will XRP see further growth? Although 2024 was expected to be an important year for Ripple, progress has been slower than expected. On May 7, XRP performed well but was affected by the recent downturn in the cryptocurrency market. However, a new partnership and legal optimism suggest that XRP could soon experience a significant rebound.
