SEC decision on…

Tuttle Capital Management has filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list 10 cryptocurrency ETFs, or leveraged exchange traded funds.

These proposed ETFs include major cryptocurrencies such as Solana (SOL) and XRP, as well as products tracking emerging assets such as Cardano (ADA), Chain Link (LINK), Polkadot (DOT), Memcoin TRUMP, MELANIA and BONK.

These entries are significant in the history of leveraged cryptocurrency ETFs in the U.S.; XRP, Solana and Litecoin (LTC) are already included in ETF filings. However, leveraged ETF filings for Cardano, Chainlink and Polkadot are more recent: according to

Tuttle’s S-1 registration statement, these instruments offer 2x-day exposure to the underlying asset. to the underlying asset. In addition, Tuttle’s memcoin ETFs, such as TRUMP and MELANIA, are pushing the limits of regulation.

Solana ETF and XRP ETF will soon be on the market? Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Bartunas noted that the SEC’s new cryptocurrency task force, led by Commissioner Hester Pearce, will determine the future of these filings.

After that, companies like CoinShares and Grayscale filed. Large asset management companies have filed applications. These organizations have also applied for spot ETFs for Litecoin (LTC) and XRP. These filings demonstrate the industry’s commitment to developing a range of cryptoinvestment products and solutions suitable for both institutional and retail investors.

While the SEC continues to evaluate the filings of Tuttle Capital and others, one can only speculate as to how far the rules governing cryptocurrency ETFs may be stretched.
