– XRPL processed 70 million transactions in July, averaging 1.8 million per day, establishing itself among the leaders among blockchain networks.
The 13-year-old network continues to attract users at the speed of a startup, with more than 1 million new accounts created in 2025.
Brazilian stablecoin BBRL has issued $4.2 million worth of tokens, and daily RLUSD transfers have doubled from 5,000 to 12,000.
XRP Ledger, also known as XRPL, is one of the world’s leading blockchain networks developed by Ripple and backed by the XRP token, which is the third largest by market capitalization as of August 1. In addition to the high market value of its native token, the network also performed well in various metrics last month (July).
The recently published Dune report from August 1 shows some of these indicators. Among them are the number of XRPL transactions, new wallet addresses, decentralized exchange (DEX) transaction volume, cross-chain transactions, and stablecoin data. XRPLcontinues to prove why it is one of the most resilient [chains] in the crypto industry, Dune’s account stated in a thread on X.
1/ It’s been 30 days since the XRPL data on Dune, and the chain continues to prove its resilience in the crypto world.
Notably, the blockchain recorded more than 70 million new transactions in July, totaling 3.83 billion transactions permanently recorded on the blockchain. July 2025 accounted for about 1.83% of the total, with 13.5 million transactions in the last week alone. According to Dune, there are an average of 1.8 million transactions per day, making XRPL network activity one of the highest compared to other networks.
But what caught the attention of analysts was the fact that the 13-year-old network is still attracting [new users] at the speed of a startup. Dashboard data shows that 3,000 new accounts are created every day, and that in 2025, the total number of accounts will exceed 1 million.
Overall, demand for stablecoins is growing worldwide, making this asset class increasingly important for international and domestic transfers. The U.S. dollar holds the position as the most popular fiat currency backing these tokens, but other countries have their representatives pegged to local currencies as well.
Interestingly, BBRL – a steblicoin pegged to the Brazilian real (BRL), powered by XRPL and created by BrazaBank – issued more than $4.2 million worth of new tokens in July 2025. With this volume of issuance, the XRP Ledger ranks second among all Brazilian stablecoin chains, behind only BRZ, which runs on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
Moreover, in the past 30 days, RLUSD has more than doubled the number of daily transfers, from 5,000 to more than 12,000. Ripple launched RLUSD at the end of 2024. Stablecoin USD is backed by cash and equivalent reserves held at Standard Custody, a New York-regulated subsidiary of Ripple.
The company is working to expand the RLUSD marketplace to Europe, as reported in Coinspeaker on July 15, which could contribute to a significant increase in daily transactions.
XRP also saw a significant increase in demand on other blockchains, recording the movement of over $165 million via Axelar to the EVM blockchain. On Near Intents
represents 5.4% of the total blockchain value of the protocol (TVL), with about $700,000 of liquidity available for cross-chain exchanges, according to another Dune panel.
