– McDonalds Indias account on social media platform X deleted posts from a purported intern who claims he hasnt been paid for many months and that trading meme coins left him without food.

The first post, published on Sunday, claimed that the author, as an intern, manages several McDonalds accounts in Asia.

He claimed that his boss, Amit Joshi, had not paid him since December 2025, forcing him to take on two additional jobsin technical support and as a courier.

In addition, the intern described himself as an unsuccessful meme coin trader. He said, Im literally starving every day because Im losing all my money on them.

Screenshots of McDonalds India posts that have since been deleted.

The last post in the thread claimed that McDonalds owed him 60,000 rupees ($650), and he was hoping for support from the community.

It appears the posts made no mention of any meme coins, so it is unlikely that the account was hacked as part of a fraudulent meme coin advertising campaign.

Yesterday, McDonalds India called these posts #fakenews, but X users were not convinced.
